Northeast Annual Conference April 11-13

"I have no agenda but Jesus".....

Steve Taylor, President Pro Tem Northeast Conference

The Full Story

The Global Methodist Church has grown rapidly in the 2 years since its founding.  The first General Conference will take place in Costa Rica in September 2024.  There the church doctrine and laws ("Discipline" in Methodist speak) will be officially adopted, though they currently exist as the "Transitional Discipline."

While over 4500 churches have joined the Global Methodist Church, a worldwide church-planting effort is underway.  In some areas the Regional Conferences made it difficult or impossible for individual churches to leave the United Methodist Church.  In other places there was a perceived absence of traditional and orthodox expressions of christianity in the community, such as was found in historical Protestantism.  Since the Protestant Reformation  in the 16th century, many churches have gradually abandoned the primacy of Scripture in favor of "social justice" or political action.  Some evolved into mere social clubs with little reference to Jesus Christ or the Gospel.  The vacuum created by those two factors has led to the need for a new expression of historical, orthodox, and Scriptural Christianity.  Please join us in this new exciting mission of God...Missio Dei!
